Medusa is a powerful software tool enabling you to view, monitor and control all of your facilities and equipment from a single interface that can be accessed on your computer, tablet or smart phone.
MULTI-SITE INTEGRATION
Medusa enables you to quickly view the health of each facility to help you determine any “outliers” (sites that are consuming more energy than a comparable location). Each site displays its current status, making it easy to determine if any one site needs attention. Clicking in further will provide details about the site and allow access to additional tools.
Paired with Octopi, you have an unbeatable tool to manage any multi-site project.
FACILITIES AT A GLANCE
The Site Map page presents users with colored pins representing each site. The color of the pin corresponds to a relevant metric such as highest space temperature at a site, or most active alerts, or potentially any metric that is important to you. Clicking into a pin will show you details about the site and each of its zones, allowing navigation directly to that site’s interface. Each user will have the option to set which KPIs are most relevant to them allowing a customized experience.
GLOBAL HVAC UPDATES
The HVAC Settings page allows you to easily manage one or many sites at once, sending commands for adjustments to each site which responds back to you with the status. The HVAC Overrides page is similar in nature, but is specifically designed for you to send setpoint overrides or clears to one or many sites.
Medusa enables you to control all the equipment across your portfolio from a single interface. With just a few clicks you could update the heating or cooling setpoint defaults for some or all of the sites. This toolset easily enables massive updates to all of your sites without needing to access each site individually.
A POWERFUL TOOL
Medusa's Energy Management Tools make it easy to identify the high energy consuming sites and, with a click or a tap, tunnel deeper into the system to investigate what equipment is adding to the usage. The user can then make changes in operations to prevent costly outliers from wasting energy.
BIG DATA
Medusa enables you to integrate "Big Data" into your facility's operations. Our cloud-based design allows you to not only collect data from all of your sites and equipment, but view and analyze the data side by side. You can view occupancy and temperature trends for a specific site or compare temperature or energy trends from site to site, all in a few clicks or taps.
When you integrate Medusa into your facility's operations, it immediately starts trending key metrics about your HVAC, Lighting and Energy data. This not only allows us to present the data to you for analysis, it gives us the ability to display aggregate data regarding all the sites in your portfolio. This data is also readily available for troubleshooting site specific issues.
ALERTS AND NOTIFICATIONS
Medusa tracks your equipment status and generates alerts when things are not right. These alerts can be viewed on each site or from the cloud. Emails can also be generated to enable quick notifications for key alert types. Alerts can be customized as needed from site to site or for your entire portfolio.
Medusa is designed with multiple types of alerts right out of the box which can be customized to your specific needs, such as temperature thresholds for high and low limit alerts. Sites with unique needs can have custom alarms created and added to the system. All of these alerts have the option to send email notifications, allowing you to connect yourself to what’s happening with your facilities as it happens.
SCHEDULES
Medusa not only allows you to view schedules for each of your sites, it enables you to push bulk schedule changes to multiple or all of your sites in a single update. Instead of having to update each site for a standard schedule change, make the change once and apply it to all the applicable sites in just a couple of clicks or taps.
MEDUSA QUICK FACTS
Medusa's continuous data collection allows quick display of all of the sites on the same screen, to quickly identify specific energy outlier sites for further, deeper investigation by the facility's energy managers.
Medusa's alarm feature is great for use by service contractors. They can view a site on an iPad, Android tablet or smartphone to get a quick overview off the store, zeroing in on any problems. This saves labor which reduces the cost of the service call.
Users can custom categorize store alarm levels (critical, urgent, major, maintenance or informational) and sort by groups, alarm type, point type, etc.
